AMS Software offers several software packages free to download users. These are "try before you buy" packages. You can simply download the 30 day free trial version of the software you are interested in and test it. If you like what you see, there is an order form with the free trial version that you can fill out and mail in to AMS Software with your payment.

If there is hypertext that indicates a free download, it means that the software package is available for a 30 free trial period. Click on the hypertext and follow the instructions to receive your trial software.

If the listed software is not marked for download, it is only available if you purchase it. There will be a form available for you to fill out on line and the print it out so that you can mail it in with your payment.

There are several bitmaps also offered for free download at the bottom of this page. These are for your personal use only, and at no charge to you. The bitmaps change about every month. Please enjoy them.

PicShow

PicShow is a small package that allows users of older computers to collect graphics from their hardware and display it in some order. The features are not as extensive as CAPS, but users of older computers will be able to display graphics files. CAPS

CAPS - Creative Audible Picture Show is a package that allows you to organize and display your graphics files in some order and with some creativity. CAPS allows you to apply frames around the graphics file, change the frame color, change the background color and much more. CAPS also allows you to set the dissolve of the graphics file.

CAPS comes standard with a screen saver in which you can also present your album that you have created. Each time your Screen Saver becomes active, you can let viewers see your graphics.

There is a MIDI file player included with CAPS. An Audible Sound Player is also standard with CAPS.

Safe E-Mail

SEM - Safe E-Mail is a package that will allow you to encrypted and compress files of any format. SEM can be used to encrypt one or more files together into a Transmission file. This Transmission file can then be E-mailed using your favorite browser. SEM can also be used to simply encrypt and compress files for secure storage on your hard drive. SEM's methodology is in it's ability to be random. There are many layers of "Fire Walls" included. SEM also has the ability to tell you whether the Transmission file has been changed or tampered with. ( Sorry, not available for free download )

Formmail CGI

Formmail CGI is a CGI designed to allow you to quickly and easily forward a form that a user has filled out to multiple E-mail sites. Formmail CGI does the following:

a) Send that form to up to 5 different E-mail addresses.

b) Send a confirming E-mail of the form to the user.

c) Build a HTML page to display the users input on the form.

d) Re-direct the HTML page to any page you desire.

Not all servers support all available languages. Pick the language that your server supports. The same Formmail CGI in different languages will continuely be added.
